Request Deletion of Your Account
Blackwood Health Tracker is developed by Blackwood Designs. Blackwood Health Tracker uses Firebase Authentication to create and authenticate user accounts.
To request deletion of your Blackwood Health Tracker account, send an email to support@blackwooddesigns.co with the subject Blackwood Health Tracker Account Deletion Request.
When possible, send the request from the same email address associated with your Blackwood Health Tracker account. This helps Blackwood Designs identify the correct authentication account and helps prevent unauthorized deletion requests.
What Account Data Is Deleted
After the account owner is identified and the deletion request is processed, the corresponding Firebase Authentication account used to sign in to Blackwood Health Tracker will be deleted.
This removes the authentication account used by Blackwood Health Tracker. After deletion, that account can no longer be used to sign in to the application.
Health and Personal Information Stored on Your Device
Blackwood Health Tracker does not use a Blackwood Designs cloud database to store the health records and other application information you enter. This information is stored locally on your Android device in an account-specific SQLite database associated with your Firebase UID.
Locally stored information may include your User Profile, blood pressure readings, blood sugar readings, weight readings, medications and dose history, fitness information, appointments, Emergency Information, Health Profile information, Health Guidelines, reminder settings, module preferences, Travel Reminder settings, and other application settings.
Deleting the Firebase Authentication account does not by itself erase files already stored locally on your Android device. To remove the locally stored Blackwood Health Tracker information from the device, clear Blackwood Health Tracker's app storage using Android's application settings or uninstall the application. Android device backup or restore behavior is controlled by Android and the device environment.
What Blackwood Designs Retains
Blackwood Designs does not retain a server-side copy of the health and personal records described above because those records are not intentionally uploaded to a Blackwood Designs database as part of the application's current operation.
Account-deletion request emails and related support correspondence may be retained by Blackwood Designs for up to 90 days after the deletion request is completed for the limited purpose of documenting and resolving the request. After that period, Blackwood Designs may delete that correspondence unless a longer period is required to address an unresolved support, security, fraud-prevention, or legal matter.
Firebase Authentication is a Google service. Information processed by Firebase may also be subject to Google's own data handling and retention practices.
Before You Request Deletion
Account deletion is intended to be permanent. If you want to keep information that exists only inside Blackwood Health Tracker, review what you need before clearing app storage or uninstalling the application.
If you use more than one Firebase account on the same device, Blackwood Health Tracker keeps each account's local application data in a separate account-specific database. Be sure you are requesting deletion of the correct authentication account.
